Bus Driver

man told me that of one truth I was just shy
told me my vision was narrow cos it was too wide
he tried to tell me that my fractals was a straight line
he tried to give me something that really wasn't mine

but I know enough of faith to say it has no place in me
I'm not willing to gouge out my eyes so that I can see
and the bus is on an ancient road and the road's crumbling
and the bus driver now remembers that he's forgetting something

purple dream clouds in the sky
anything else would be absurd
says his mother's never touched a man
and homeboy's father is a bird

but I know enough of faith...

violated children everywhere
priests touching boys who have no hair down there
O my father hallowed be thy name
now come on Tommy come on touch me

but I know enough of faith...
